What Kraken asks for to open an account

Trade Leopard runs against your own Kraken, OKX or Coinbase account. If you do not have one yet, Kraken is the usual place to start. This is the short list of what they typically ask for on a personal account, plus Trade Leopard's invite code to enter when you sign up.

The invite code

Kraken's sign-up form has an optional Invite Code field. Paste this one in. It is Trade Leopard's referral, and it has to be entered before you submit the form — it cannot be added later.

What to have ready

You create the account on Kraken's site, not here. Have these to hand before you start — verification is what unlocks deposits, withdrawals and the API key Trade Leopard needs.

US and South Africa residents are also asked for a face photo. Kraken does not accept P.O. boxes. Kraken decides exactly which documents apply to your country, so treat this as the usual personal-account list rather than a guarantee. Their own page is Document requirements for verification.

Once the account is open

Trade Leopard connects through an API key you create on Kraken, with read and trade permission only — never withdrawal. That is step 2, and the exact boxes to tick are in An API key that cannot withdraw. If you already have a Trade Leopard login, both steps live on Connect Your Exchange.
