Common questions

What is Trade Leopard?

Trade Leopard is a rules-based crypto accumulation and rebalancing tool that runs against your own exchange account. You set target weights across a basket of assets, a budget and a pace; it buys each asset's share on your schedule, but only when that asset clears an RSI gate you configure. Rebalancing is buy-only. It works on Kraken, OKX and Coinbase.

Is Trade Leopard a DCA bot?

Not in the sense the market uses the term. Most products sold as crypto DCA bots place safety orders — extra buys below an entry price to repair a losing position. Trade Leopard has no entry price to defend and never sizes an order based on a loss. It is a gated accumulator: the calendar decides when a buy is allowed, and your RSI condition decides whether it happens.

Is there a bot that only buys crypto when RSI shows oversold?

Yes — that is the core of Trade Leopard. It reads RSI on four timeframes (1h, 2h, 4h and 1d) for each asset in your basket, and you choose how many of the four must be under your threshold before that asset's share of the budget is spent. Assets that do not qualify are skipped, and their unspent share carries into the next period.

Does Trade Leopard take custody of my coins?

No, and it cannot. It connects to your own Kraken, OKX or Coinbase account through an API key with read and trade permission only — withdrawal permission is never requested and should never be granted to any tool of this kind. Your coins stay in your exchange account, and revoking the key at the exchange stops everything immediately.

Can it take profit automatically?

Only if you switch that on. The optional scheduled trim ships off; when enabled, it sells a holding's profit only — never the principal that bought it — never sells at a loss, and runs at most once per asset per period on its own schedule. The proceeds stay as cash and become part of the next period's buying power, so profit taken on the way up is redeployed only when an asset clears your gate on a dip. Out of the box, the engine only buys.

How does rebalancing work without selling?

New money is steered toward whatever sits furthest below its target weight, so each contribution pulls the portfolio back toward your weights with buys alone. Nothing is ever sold to correct drift. Manual hard and positive rebalances exist as buttons behind a preview showing the exact orders before anything is placed.

What is Red Dawn?

Red Dawn is a separate emergency allocation: money you set aside that deploys only when an asset falls hard from its 24-hour high, at a drop you define. It has its own budget and its own trigger, entirely apart from the scheduled buying, so a flash crash can be bought without touching the regular plan.

How much does Trade Leopard cost?

It is free. Create an account, connect your own exchange with a trade-only API key, and configure Leopard Algo yourself. You still pay your exchange's normal trading fees.

Does Trade Leopard use leverage, shorting, grids or signals?

No. There is no leverage, no shorting, no grid bot, no signal marketplace and no copy trading. It is one allocation policy that you configure — weights, budget, pace, gate, and the optional trim.

Does it guarantee or predict returns?

No. Trade Leopard publishes no backtests and makes no claim that rules-based buying outperforms a plain schedule or anything else — its own earlier RSI "snowball" strategy was retired after 3.5 years of backtesting put it at a profit factor well under 1. The claim is that your rule is explicit, visible, and applied the same way every period. Crypto is volatile and you can lose money.

How do I stop it?

Set the engine to Paused on the dashboard, or delete the API key at your exchange. Your coins sit in your own exchange account. There is nothing to withdraw from us, because nothing was ever held here.

Which countries can use it?

Trade Leopard works wherever your exchange does: you need your own account at Kraken, OKX or Coinbase, and availability depends on that exchange supporting your country and the assets you choose. The tool itself adds no further restriction.
